AN UNUSUAL DESIGN

With its 'turtle' case typical of 1970s watches and its asymmetrical double crown, the La Rochelaise is unlike any other watch. A watch of singular beauty, to be worn with a suit or a sou'wester!

A 'PRESSED' BEZEL

The internal rotating bezel of the Rochelaise uses a manufacturing technique from the 1960s, with hour markers stamped directly into the metal. The surface of the hour markers is then varnished to capture maximum light.

A REFINED DIAL

The sunburst dial of the Rochelaise is subtle and understated, and the absence of a date contributes to its perfect visual balance.

Three evocative dial colours:
• Sand Grey: a warm grey with golden accents
• Sea Green: a blue-green reminiscent of the waters of the bay at La Rochelle
• Ocean Blue: a deep blue with subtle reflections

AN EMBOSSED CASEBACK

The screw-down casebacks of Le Forban Sécurité Mer watches are distinguished by the quality of their engraving, with a motif always linked to the marine world. The richness of detail is achieved using a high-quality embossing technique (a motif stamped into the steel). The La Rochelaise maritime rope is a nod to the nearby royal ropemakers at Rochefort.
